Cooling not required

By James McGaghey 06/08/2022

I started with suggested bed temperatures but found that at 40 degrees bed the filament tended to warp so I bumped it up to my normal PLA bed temperature of 60 degrees and found that the warping stopped and made a good grip on the glass build surface.

I tried to get the best quality print so I first printed out 3 smart temperature towers (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2729076) to test for the right heat and to test how the cooling fan affected the overhangs. The 3 cooling fan speeds were 0%, 50%, and 100% and found that the cooling fan had no real affect on the overhangs.

From this i found the 195 degrees was the best temperature for my printer(CR-10 mini with a j-head hotend and Petsfang Duct system )
